Just looking for trouble...

Just a note: This little fellow is a rescue... he had less than 24 hours before he was no more. When we got him he had not been out of his kennel much of his 6 week old life. The good vet who saw him and a sibling, diagnosed them as having scottie cramp. As of his last vet visit (a little over 2 weeks ago) he's gone from 2.9lbs to right at... 8lbs. He goes 100mph as long as he stays awake and shows NO SIGNS of SC. We believe the vet might have made a mis-diagnosis by mistake (who would do that to save puppies?). We tried to get the other siblings but they had been placed so we are 'forced' to live with this pile of energy. I guess we'll do the best we can, especially since he has the 'NEW PUPPY SMELL and BREATH'...

We are happy to have water back in the pond... and now there is some snow covering it. I just hope no one steals our snow like they stole our rocks. With only 1-3" of snow predicted, I should be able to keep an eye on it.

Sunday morning was Big Orange and UNC Blue skies... You can't imagine how bright the orange sun was that morning...

Ok... it was the falls!

Made it to the falls and not Hump Mountain. Sorry about that...

Heading to Hump Mountain or the falls...

Heading up or over this weekend... just not sure which. Hump Mountain is only a 2 hour hike (straight up) or over to the falls behind my Aunt Connie's house. The picture of the falls is a bit deceptive as they are real tall and have 3 or 4 cut outs or stair steps where the water pools. This shot was taken a few winters ago and is of my brother. The Hump picture is a panorama which I put together from a year or so ago.
